WHAT IS TRADE ASSURANCE?

Trade assurance is a service that ensures terms of trade ranging from availability,cost,quality, lead-time , packaging and on time shipment are met. In case of breach of terms of trade a refund is issued to the buyer when duly investigated and confirmed. The service is more efficient to importers as the trade assurance process might be expensive due to transport cost and accomodation fees for the personnel sent to the exporting country.

HOW DO WE PLAY A PART IN TRADE ASSURANCE?

We as trade assure add an extra layer of security to overseas buyers of any legal good, primarily, from Kenyan suppliers. However, depending with your business relationship you in Uganda, Tanzania & Rwanda have with us, we will inculcate you in our trade assurance team to represent us in your respective regions. All you need to do is to provide us with detailed or precise description of the good you need exported to you and we will do all the necessary activities on your behalf. However, if you already have a supplier in mind , inform us and we will ensure all proceedings are done effectively.

STEPS WE TAKE TO ASSURE YOUR TRADE;

1.) Establishing a favorable supplier of the goods.

2.) Confirm availability of your order.

3.) Confirm the quality described through our various consultancies.

4.) Arrange a purchase contract between you and the supplier that both parties agree to.

5.) Collect payment via Pesapal which you will release once goods are delivered and confirmation by the importer is made.

6.) To ensure on-time shipment we offer packaging and  transport service ourselves.

PAYMENT PROTECTION COVER

We give you control over your payments as we have integrated our website with Pesapal a trusted payment gateway that processes payments in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania & Rwanda. After you place the payment you release the paid funds after delivery is done.

Steps to enjoy the self-controlled payment system is as follows;

i) Place and order with us by first requesting a quote and once you accept the quote we will update your order in the order & payment panel for you to keep track by logging in to the panel

ii) Depending on the mode of payment you wish to pay with we will guide to;

Credit & debit card payments is available in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania & Rwanda via pesapal. We will send you a pesapal payment link in your order panel, email or whatsapp.

For mobile money: KENYAN clients can pay via pesapal payment link with M-pesa of which we will send in your order panel, email or whatsapp. However, for Ugandan & Tanzanian clients currently, we accept MTN uganda and Vodacom respectively although this is not available under the pesapal payment options. Click on this link to find a procedure to place payment via mobile money using MTN or Vodacom. â€‹

 

-For bank deposits our sales team will guide you accordingly.

iii) We will update our Pesapal point of sale panel with the quoted amount of the order and send you a Pesapal link and an invoice on your order panel or whats app for you to place a payment depending on your country or preference.

iv) Once you place payment under the guidance of Pesapal and our team, we will be updated and commence proceedings and shipment of the trade as you monitor the trade in the order & payment panel.

v) Immediately after delivery and satisfaction, you will be required to release funds in your Pesapal account transaction section. However, if you paid directly via mobile money or bank account we will release funds to the merchant on your behalf. Finally, the trade is marked as complete.

We offer pre & post shipment payment protection cover to our clients in case;

  1. The shipment is delayed, beyond the specified shipping date

  2. The manufactured items are not compliant with the provided quality requirement

Pre-shipment payment protection cover: This cover is offered to orders which quality confirmation of product can be done prior shipment and this is done through sampling and moreover with our consultants ascertaining the order immediately when ready and before shipment. In case the supplier fails to meet the descriptions of the order that match the samples availed to the client then a refund is scheduled. 

Orders under this cover must be shipped by us , as suppliers might fail to ensure on-time shipment hence putting us liable.

Post-shipment payment protection cover: This cover is offered to orders of which sampling is impossible such as electronics. However our consultants oversee the quality details described by the buyer. In case of any proved breach of term the client is entitled to a refund.

 

QUALITY PROTECTION COVER

We offer 100% quality protection cover to importers via our various trade consultancies agencies in various sectors ranging from agriculture to construction industry. Supplier must meet the quality specifications within the purchase contract and in case of proved breach a refund is scheduled.

We also do offer sampling services of goods to enable us affirm the 100% quality protection cover.

ON-TIME SHIPMENT COVER

We ensure 100% on-time shipment cover through our well established and effective shipment network. We offer this service to protect both parties that is the supplier and the buyer. We are liable to shipment delays as stipulated by the buyer in the purchase contract.
